A little about me
I don't know what else to call myself except a maker, a problem solver, and someone who likes to share what I learn. The undoer of knots and mender of boo boos. I love to knit especially, and sew small things. Natural supplies catch my attention first, but I adjust depending on the item I'm working on for hypoallergenic, safety, and use reasons. I especially like to make things to give as gifts. I tend to craft by whimsy. It makes me happy. It is medicine to me, as well, and helps me deal with the challenges I face.

You will notice that I sometimes refer to my disabilities. I do this to help others who face similar issues. Also, to help explain why I might have differences in my photos and videos. I have systemic sarcoidosis that especially affects my central nervous system (neurosarcoid). It affects me much like MS. I, also, have secondary sjogren's and vitiligo. When it comes up, I share how I work with these obstacles to complete a task, do a craft, or face the day. I am very open to questions.

To answer a few questions right off the bat, I am married and have two grown children. We currently have two older dogs having downsized from a small farm with lots of pets. In fact, I'm feeling a bit "oldish" myself! I like genealogy and entertainment from Star Wars to Jane Austen. Nature fascinates me. You will learn that I love bunnies and turtles. I'm a sports fan. And I cherish pie!

P.S. I once took a sign language course and was given a sign name by our deaf teacher and the class. It is the sign of a "K" combined with the sign for laughing or smiling. It made me so happy to receive such a nice name. I even posed with it it my photo that you see. However, I am told you don't put the thumb where I have it. LOL. Evidently that means something entirely different. HA!
